Willy searched the Nine9 database for acting auditions in early August after a busy summer of acting camp and family travel. Within days of submitting to a few casting calls, he was asked to come in for an audition for "The Reasonable Bunch" by the local casting director. His first audition was with the director, Sam Levinson, and two days later we learned he had booked the role of "Taylor". He plays a 15 year cousin to the main character portrayed by Ezra Miller and the nephew of Ellen Barkin's character. Willy started filming the SAG production on September 7 and is booked for four weeks. He will wrap in three days and has had the time of his life. The film is being distributed by Mandalay Films and will be released in 2011. The cast includes Demi Moore, Kate Bosworth, Ellen Barkin, Ezra Miller, Ellen Burstyn, George Kennedy, Thomas Haden Church, Daniel Yelsky, Siobhan Fallon and, of course, Willy Vlasic. Willy has signed with talent agent Brinda Bhatt at Innovative Artists in LA and with manager Sue Leibman of Barking Dog Entertainment in NY. He is preparing for more auditions and is grateful to Nine9 for helping to kick off his career.
