First of all, I would like to thank God for bringing me into Nine9! I knew when I first came here that they were going to be able to do some great things for me. It started off kind of slow however after a few months things started happening. I started submitting myself for local things in Houston but would never get any call backs; then I finally got one! Just to be at this audition was grand. I did not care if I did not get the part just as long as I got the experience! Then I met a young lady by the name of Paris Nicole Leary who was a volunteer instructor for Nine9. I attended her workshops at the office and she referred me to a lady by the name of Mary Ellis who gave me my first lead role in her film "A Widow's Heart". It was exciting. I shot that film over the summer. Then I went to another audition for a film "Sorrow" and got the part of Marie the reporter. I got cast in a local comedy sitcom "My People" that shot this winter. I went to another audition for a play "A Raisin in the Sun" got the part of "Mama" performing this spring. Thank you Nine9! You have been a blessing to me.
