At first my family was a little skeptical, but a couple months into the system we began getting auditions. None of them panned out, until the film "Bessie" announced auditions for kids my age in the Atlanta Area. My grandmother took me down for the audition and a couple of days later we received a call back from the casting company. I had been selected as an extra. The fitting was scheduled, cancelled, then rescheduled, and then filming day came late last week...... I had a great time. I was the only kid on set, but I had ball meeting all the other extras on set, then came time for me to shoot my scene. Not only was I the only kid on set, I had what they call a featured extra role, meaning I was the only one in the scene and it had some significant importance..... I felt like a star, even though I know it was a minor role.... I left the set late that night/early morning feeling like anything is possible and am now looking to audition and accept the challenges of many more roles.....

Look out because here I come.
