During the audition for entering the acting course of the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London, UK, I presented one of Hamlet's monolog from the play of the same name by Shakespeare. It surprised most of my peers and teachers as it seemed an unusual choice for a girl to choose a male role. I chose this text because I loved the character, and it was not that surprising to do so in France. By making this choice and by my performance, I got a seat in that course so I could improve my skills with great teachers and professional actors.
